Garden Antics
2020, AIRspace Projects, Marrickville, NSW
The garden is a contrived site of curated Nature where the rambling habit of plants and the awkward clunking of human intervention are at play. Garden Antics journals the undulating narrative of a gardening practice and presents a space for considering these curious interactions with Nature.
The works in this exhibition include acrylic and oil paintings on stretched canvas ranging between 152 x 122 cm and 122 x 91 cm, and framed watercolour monotypes approx 40 x 33 cm.
